Electro Dodge: Dodge Circuit EV
Great news from Dodge! Dodge unveiled their Circuit EV.
A new electric sports car! The Dodge Circuit EV is based on the Lotus Europa and the styling is inspired by the powerful Dodge Viper.
Dodge Circuit EV offers an extremely fun-to-drive, expressive sports car without fuel consumption and with virtually no impact on the environment,” said Ralph Gilles, Vice President -- Design, Chrysler LLC.
The Dodge Circuit EV produces 268 horsepower and is powered by a lithium-ion battery system. From 0 to 60 mph is covered in under 5 seconds and the quarter mile in 13 seconds. Top speed of the Dodge Circuit EV is 120 mph. After four hours of charging the batteries they are ready to ride for 150 -- 200 miles. That recharge can be performed at any standard 110-volt household plug and charging time would be cut in half if done at a 220-volt outlet.
