Koenigsegg introduced a new prototype what is called the Quant. With a great cooperation between Koenigsegg and NLV Solar AG this solar dream car is born. But what is so special about this car? Well it is his solar power that powers it’s engine.

Tesla already proofed electric vehicles can be fast… Now the announced their Tesla S Sport sedan. This looks like a mixture between an a Jaguar and a Maserati. Although a lot of people think this isn’t a fast car, well it is!
The new Blue Zero by the Italian design house Pinifarina is a true city car. This is a fife-door car with automatic transmission. Ideal for four persons traveling through the city. The top speed of this Pininfarina’s five-door hatchback is capped at 130km/h. Enough for driving through a city. It’s acceleration is still ok. From o – 60 km/h will be done in 6.3 seconds. Not the fastest car, but who cares. On a full battery you can drive 250 km for recharging what will take up to six hours of charging. The bigger cities even got a power plant on their parking to recharge your vehicle. So no worries you can’t get back home.
On the website of Nissan Talk, we found a nice article about the new Nissan Nuvu. Although we think this model is a ladies car, it would be ideal for city trips. This car isn’t really a car for the highway.. but more for small city streets and ideal for parking. Especially for the ladies, so they don’t need to have any parking sensors to avoid some damage, so this will safe you in the insurance for you car.

Aptera Motors will bring a three-wheeled vehicle on the marked at the end of 2009. They planned to deliver by October 2009 their first vehicles. The all electric vehicle 2e from Aptera Motors will go into production and is expected to be delivered by October 2009. The three-wheeled vehicle Type 1, now coined as 2e, is a Carlsbad concept with investments from big names like Google and Idealab.
This electric vehicle is made from composite high strength materials, that will have good aerodynamics. In a single charge this E2 can travel 100-120 miles with a top speed of 85 to 90 miles per hour.
Great news from Dodge! Dodge unveiled their Circuit EV.
A new electric sports car! The Dodge Circuit EV is based on the Lotus Europa and the styling is inspired by the powerful Dodge Viper.
Dodge Circuit EV offers an extremely fun-to-drive, expressive sports car without fuel consumption and with virtually no impact on the environment,” said Ralph Gilles, Vice President -- Design, Chrysler LLC.
Manufacture Rinspeed will reveal their concept car iChange on the International Motor Show of Genève. The iChange has a variable body design that can accommodate 1,2, or 3 passengers.
A 130 kilowatt electro-motor will the power for this concept car and has zero emission. This concept iChange by Rinspeed is built with lightweight components assembled to have optimal aerodynamics. Also the shape of the body will increase the speed of this car, because it has a sleek body architecture.

Okey, not every company is building car, because they think it should be the best performance car their is ever build. And maybe they are also not building the most beautiful car there is.. but at least it’s electric! It’s all about the environment! Thats all that counts, no?
Well CT&T is thinking green and is pushing for their range of c-Zone electric powered golf cars and functional EVs for worldwide use by building the E-Zone EV.
It’s small and slow, but it passed the European crash test at 30 mp/h. Even an airbag is optional .
